Global Search Engine Optimization
Google plus and local seo is based on "local" verified business addresses. Global Seo is based on country or worldwide sites. Global SEO is a complex process that builds upon strategic link structures and solid website optimization methods. Although GLOBAL SEO is very difficult and time consuming, it can be achieved.

If I had "owned" the Bubamoda url at the time, I would have turned it into a website with Google advertising and adsense with other wholesale companies and online retailers, but I did not. Even when closing a site, a number of alternatives can be explored... something to keep in mind... but whoever owns the url... is in control of those decisions.
These were "GLOBAL SEO" versus "Local Seo"
search results for a product sold nationally and internationally while the website was active. Less than a year and a half is a very short term for this level of search engine optimization but it is achievable.
What would have helped:
Follow up procedures, an online shopping cart, a download PDF of pricing catalogs, continuing SEO and social media would have assisted them tremendously to capitalize on the strength of the SEO I built with one site, and I was told by the manager I was going to be hired for more sites... but as he lost his power and position in the company, I lost that opportunity.
Having multiple websites (properly optimized) would have continued their rise on the search engines too... but the CEO who gained control decided to condense to one website his family member built.
As a designer who focus's on SEO
at the core of my site building, I disagree with his decision to do that... but I did not have a business relationship with him, nor opportunity to explain the complex SEO process that builds upon link structures, each successful site, and the reality that although GLOBAL SEO is very difficult and time consuming, it can be achieved.

The new CEO decided to close the "smaller break out businesses"... including belts, swimsuits and summer dresses (the website I built) and return the focus exclusively to the main company product, and strictly sell eye wear.
That CEO closed all additional websites.
All the multiple and alternate sites for other lines were closed, including PolarOne, Lifeguard, Coleman sunglasses, a few more... (none of which I built) and the (BubaModa site which I did build) was closed too.
5. Sites were closed.
The new CEO in control decided
one website ...
would replace their entire online campaign.
He hired his family member to build it.
